A Prayer for the new Archbishop of Canterbury

Eternal and loving Christ, 

You came not to be served but to serve, and to give your life for those who seek.

We thank you for your servant Sarah as she is called to serve in this role. Rest upon her with gentle grace, persistent mercy, and eternal wisdom.

Bless and empower your church, this nation, and, we pray, the worldwide Anglican Communion.
