The PCC have discussed and agreed a method which complies with Health and Safety issues, to continue using the flag pole on the tower. So, for now, the PCC have decided to resume the raising and lowering of the flags on the church tower again, with the proviso that the decision is reviewed regularly
The PCC have made a decision that the raising (and lowering) of flags on the church tower has to be suspended for the time being.
The reason for this is because of concerns about the safety of the roof and therefore the safety of the people going up the tower to attach the flags to the pole. We aim to have the health and safety concerns addressed as soon as possible.
