The Clewer Initiative, Waiting in the Wilderness, Lent Course 2025

Waiting in the Wilderness shines a spotlight on different forms of modern slavery found in the UK including domestic servitude, county lines, forced labour, sexual exploitation, exploitation in the hand car wash sector and care sector.

Each Tuesday during Lent, material from the course will be provided in the Lady Chapel at St Michael’s Chagford. You can drop in to reflect upon it in your own time during the week, access the full material online, or join Edwina Fennemore between 10:30- 11:30 am each Tuesday morning from 11th March- 15th April to ponder the poem and pray.
